Do I need Flex Your Rights' permission for public DVD screenings?
All Flex Your Rights educational materials — including original web content and videos — are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License. As such, you are generally permitted and encouraged to screen our DVDs in public. (This includes local public-access television.) No additional written permission or fees are required, so long as you are not displaying the work for commercial purposes.

Can I display your Flex Your Rights videos on my website?
Yes! You may select any video from our YouTube channel, and use the convenient “embed” code to display the material on your site. All we ask is that you refer to Flex Your Rights by name and provide a hyperlink to our website.

Can I get a Flex Your Rights speaker for my event?
Because Flex is an all-volunteer organization, the best option is to screen one of our DVDs and invite a local criminal defense lawyer to field Q&A. Here are more tips for hosting a fantastic know-your-rights event.
